CLTMQG and Echo Stars

Well, if the title has you confused, that would be Charlotte Modern Quilt Guild.  Our last challenge was to make 2 blocks with Kona White and a fat quarter of Lotta Jansdotter's Echo line, which was provided.  We were allowed to trade a little of our fat quarter to get some variety. Tonight we all brought in our blocks and two lucky people went home with about 13 squares each.

Here are mine:

Here's the amazing part - I was a winner!  Yes, me!  So I got a whole bunch of beautiful Echo stars that I can't wait to make into a quilt.  I'll get you pictures soon.

Oh, and as if winning the star blocks was not enough good news, the hubby and I are headed to Aruba tomorrow, sans children.

So, besides my Craftsy BOM blog tour stop & Giveaway here on March 2nd, it will be quiet around these parts.

Have a great weekend,
Courtney

  5. Congrats on the win! How lovely that your MQG gave out Echo fabric for your challenge. We had a very similar challenge at the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild last month and two lucky winners went home with 13 stacked book blocks each!

    Have a great trip!
