Fun Halloween Worksheet Download
When I was a kid one of my favorite things to do in school was to get the kind of worksheet that lets you pick the correct homonym to use in a sentence. I have no idea why, but this is still an exercise that greatly appeals to me. Of course, it's not just fun - it's also a great way to teach kids the difference between some commonly mixed up words. I had
way too much fun creating spooky sentences for the upcoming holiday.
I'd love for you to print it out for your favorite little goblins! Some of the sentences use simple homonyns and are at a first/second grade level ( to, too or two), but others are commonly confused words that trip up lots of grown-ups (effect [noun] and affect[verb]). So, just have fun and see how many your kid(s) can do!
