Farmer's Wife QAL #14
I'm really trying to keep up with the Farmer's Wife Quilt-a-long. So my two blocks for the week are:
[50] Honey's Choice in a cute little print from Michael Miller's Mike's Minis line and the orange & duck egg French Wallpaper from Amy Butler. Oh, I wish I had bought more of that when I could! But little projects like these are a good use of my dwindling fat quarter.
[55] Linoleum in Tufted Tweets by Laurie Wisbrun, the aqua herringbone is Joel Dewberry Modern Meadow and the stripes are from Lizzy House's Red Letter Day line. I just love this block and it totally reminds me of the cool Japanese X block on Amy's blog. See, these farmers could be pretty cool.
Speaking of the Japanese X block, I did make one a week or so ago. Can't tell you much about the "big picture" but I'll share more later. Don't you just love Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks line?
Oh, and looking back over my post the first line sounds like this QAL is a real chore, but it's really not. I truly love making these little treasures each week, sometimes it can be tough to find the time, but they do make me very happy!
