Updates
Wow, it is a busy week and I have so much blog "housekeeping" to catch up on I thought I would give you a rundown all in one post.
First up, it's time for Pretty {little} Pouch Swap Round 5. This is a fun swap, and as long as you sign up on flickr by 8/8, you are in. No invitations necessary. A nice change this time around is that you can sign up for 3 levels and get the same in return. So if you work for days on an intricate pattern you won't get something back made from a solid piece of fabric. I have never had that issue, but I guess it is not unheard of!
Additionally, Diane created this amazing new flickr group, Quilting for a Cause! Members can post quilts that they need help putting together to help someone in need and you can sign up to make them a block or two. Wonderful idea and it looks like it is already in full swing.
Finally, I just found out my awesomely talented cousin, Michael, started his own clothing line - Three Rivers Clothing. You can find tees to make a Pittsburgher or Steelers fan very happy this holiday season! Michael has been designing custom tees for schools, businesses and events since he was in high school. Glad he is living his dream now!
Oh, and one last thing, I did see a very cool tutorial from Rachel of imagine gnats over at Sew, Mama, Sew today!
That should be about all for now! Thanks for reading. -Courtney

This week is also the start of the Winterkist Blog Hop! You can see all the details here, but there will be lots of fun projects featuring Monica Solorio-Snow's new Winterkist line and a chance to win fat quarter bundles from Fat Quarter Shop each of the three weeks. My day to host is August 9. Can't wait to see all the cute gnomas!
Diane, over at From Blank Pages, has a ton of stuff going on! She just started a Master Linky Party List and a new linky dedicated to your blank pages, or how your projects begin to come to life:
