Holiday Favorites: Light the Lights

 This is one of my favorite books to read during December because it depicts a family that celebrates just like ours!  It's so nice to read about Emma's family in Light the Lights. Emma polishes the menorah with her dad and has a latke and dreidel party with his side of the family. Then they get a tree together and visit with her mother's side of the family for Christmas. It's lovely to see the power of lights on the dark winter days and the emphasis on family in both traditons.
